About PIP Labs & Story
PIP Labs are the builders of Story, a new Layer 1 blockchain designed for creative IP. Story is reimagining how ideas, characters, and worlds are created, shared, and expanded, making it easier for creators to collaborate, remix, and build cultural movements together.
Our Brand Design team is shaping how Story shows up in the world. From product launches to cultural activations, we are creating a brand that resonates with creators, developers, and communities at the frontiers of internet culture.
The Role
We are looking for a Senior Visual Designer with a strong foundation in brand and web design to help elevate Story’s creative presence across all touchpoints. This is a role for someone with proven craft, who can own projects end to end, work independently in fast-paced environments, and contribute polished design that reflects the direction of the brand.
You will collaborate with our Head of Design, Art Director, and marketing team to bring campaigns, events, and digital experiences to life. This is not a management role, but it is a senior individual contributor position where you will set a high standard for design craft and execution.
What You'll Do:
- Deliver high-quality design across web, campaigns, social, events, and community touchpoints
- Lead creative execution for major launches and activations (e.g. ETHDenver, Korea Blockchain Week)
- Translate brand direction into clear, consistent visuals across multiple formats, both digital and physical
- Work closely with marketing, content, and community teams to deliver effective design solutions that balance creativity and clarity
- Contribute to evolving Story’s brand system, ensuring consistency while leaving space for creative expression
- Bring strong communication to feedback loops, collaborating effectively with both design and non-design stakeholders
Who We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in visual or brand design, with a focus on web and digital-first execution
- A strong portfolio showcasing brand systems, campaign work, and polished marketing design
- Independent and reliable, able to take a project from concept to delivery without heavy oversight
- Strong communicator who can present ideas clearly and adapt based on feedback
- Comfortable working in North American time zones for collaboration
- Curiosity about crypto/web3 and the future of internet-native creative economies
Bonus Points:
- Experience with web3 or emerging tech brands
- Exposure to large-scale cultural or community events
- Agency background with recognizable brand work
