Senior Vice President, Enterprise Project Management
The Senior Vice President, Enterprise Project Management leads and oversees Aqua Finance’s Enterprise Project Management function, ensuring alignment of all strategic initiatives with the organization’s goals and priorities. This senior leader provides executive direction for the governance, prioritization, and execution of enterprise-wide programs and projects. The SVP establishes the strategic framework for portfolio management, project delivery, and performance measurement to drive business transformation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.
The SVP partners closely with the Executive Leadership Team to define enterprise priorities, allocate resources, and ensure disciplined execution of initiatives that enable business and technology strategy. This role provides visionary leadership to the Project Management Office (PMO), embedding best-in-class project management practices across the organization.
Essential Functions
Establishes and leads Aqua Finance’s Enterprise Project Management strategy, methodology, and governance structure to ensure the effective prioritization and delivery of enterprise-wide initiatives
Partners with the Executive Leadership Team to define and oversee the enterprise project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, risk appetite, and financial goals
Directs enterprise-level project and program governance, ensuring executive visibility into key initiatives, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies
Leads the enterprise project prioritization process, balancing strategic impact, operational capacity, and investment optimization across business units
Oversees the development and implementation of standardized enterprise project management methodologies, tools, and performance metrics to drive consistency, transparency, and accountability
Serves as the executive sponsor for the PMO’s governance forums, ensuring decisions are data-driven, outcomes-focused, and aligned with enterprise strategy
Drives organizational change and transformation through effective portfolio management, stakeholder engagement, and disciplined execution of cross-functional initiatives
Provides executive-level communication and reporting on the health, performance, and outcomes of the enterprise project portfolio to the CEO, Board, and Senior Leadership Team
Partners with IT, Operations, Finance, Risk, and other functional leaders to ensure alignment of project delivery with enterprise capabilities, resource planning, and business outcomes
Champions a culture of strategic execution, continuous improvement, and accountability across all levels of the organization
Develops, mentors, and leads a high-performing team of project management professionals; ensures succession planning and leadership development within the function
Oversees departmental planning, budgeting, and performance management to ensure efficient utilization of resources and achievement of enterprise priorities.
Acts as a trusted advisor and thought leader to the Executive Leadership Team on project management, optimization, and enterprise transformation strategies.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, or related field, or commensurate work experience required (MBA or advanced degree or certification preferred)
12 years of progressive leadership experience in Enterprise Project Management, within consumer lending, financial services, or fintech environments required
7 years of people management experience required
3 years in the financial industry required
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent in project management hours of experience preferred
Exceptional project/program management competence and skills
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts
Attention to detail and accuracy required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Proficient in the utilization of Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, visualize, talk, hear, and handle or touch objects or controls. The employee may occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds.
This position is an office-based position where you must be able to sit for long periods of time. The employee will be working on a computer 90% of the time.
