About the role and about You:

Ready to shape the future of fitness and gaming? Join us as a Senior UI/UX Designer to create intuitive and delightful experiences across our digital experiences.

As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you'll create complex, yet delightful designs that power our apps across all screen sizes and platforms (Desktop, iOS, Android, and TV). You won't just design the 'happy path'—you’ll map out edge cases and interactions of the full user journey. You should be ready to jump in, rapidly iterate, and bring a fresh perspective to both the UI and UX of our projects.

You’ll partner closely with other designers, product managers, engineers, project managers, data teams, and other cross-functional teams to bring features to life across our experiences.

We're looking for a highly strategic and collaborative self-starter. You are someone who loves to take proactive ownership of your work, openly welcomes feedback and critique, and consistently puts the team's success and our collective goals first.

A portfolio is required. Please share a link to your website that showcases your user-centered design philosophy, interaction design skills, and your approach to problem-solving.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the end-to-end UX/UI design for our most complex feature sets across multiple strategic product initiatives.
  • Create elevated experiences that are intuitive, innovative, and polished, ensuring consistency with the existing brand and UI.
  • Design user-friendly data visualizations and insights for different user types
  • Create detailed design artifacts (flows, wireframes, prototypes) to clearly translate product goals.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to align on design and execution.
  • Drive iterative design by prototyping, running user tests, and rapidly integrating feedback.
  • Contribute to and evolve the core design system for cross-platform cohesion and efficiency.
  • Deliver high-fidelity designs that detail all states and edge cases for the engineering hand-off.

What we’re looking for:

  • 6+ years of Product Design experience in consumer-facing technology.
  • Proven ability to deliver features end-to-end, from concept to high-fidelity production, on compressed timelines.
  • High level of experience working with and contributing to UI design systems and libraries.
  • Experience creating charting and data visualization that is user-friendly and robust.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proven record of partnering effectively with Product, Data, and Engineers to develop and iterate on software experiences.
  • Expert-level proficiency in design tools like Figma, and experience incorporating motion and animation (e.g., Lottie).
  • Passion for fitness, gaming, or sport is a big plus; love for the Zwift mission is essential.

Bonus points:

  • Experience in technology, gaming, ecommerce, or subscription businesses are an advantage.
  • Experience designing for a variety of screen sizes and platforms: from IOS/Android experiences and smart TVs to tablet interfaces.
  • Proficient in motion and animation.
  • Experience working with remote, distributed teams.
