About the Role
We are seeking a talented Senior UI/UX Designer to join our innovative HealthTech client that is revolutionizing personalized healthcare delivery. You'll play a crucial role in designing intuitive, accessible, and engaging user experiences that help millions of users achieve their health and wellness goals through our comprehensive digital ecosystem.
As a senior member of our design team, you'll support/lead the design of complex user journeys across our mobile applications, web platform, and telehealth interfaces, ensuring seamless experiences that build trust and drive meaningful health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Design Leadership
- Lead end-to-end design processes for mobile-first healthcare applications and web platforms
- Create user-centered design solutions that balance business objectives with user needs and regulatory requirements
- Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems and component libraries
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to design team growth and culture
User Experience Design
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Design complex user flows for healthcare journeys, including onboarding, assessment tools, treatment planning, and ongoing care management
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for mobile and web applications
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to ensure design feasibility and optimal implementation
Mobile & Cross-Platform Design
- Design native mobile experiences for iOS and Android platforms
- Ensure responsive design principles across all device types and screen sizes
- Optimize user interfaces for accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA standards)
- Create seamless cross-platform experiences that maintain consistency while leveraging platform-specific capabilities
Innovation & Prototyping
- Utilize AI-powered design tools to accelerate ideation and prototyping workflows
- Rapidly prototype new concepts and features using modern design and development tools
- Stay current with emerging design trends, healthcare UX best practices, and AI-assisted design methodologies
- Contribute to design innovation initiatives and experimental product features

RequirementsRequired Qualifications
Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience with a focus on mobile applications
- Proven track record designing consumer-facing mobile applications, preferably in a start-up or well established innovative company
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma for design systems, prototyping, and team collaboration
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating mobile-first design thinking and complex problem-solving
- Experienced with WCAG 2.1 and international compliance standards
- Experience with design systems and component-based design approaches
- Understanding of iOS and Android design guidelines and platform conventions
- Knowledge of front-end development principles and design-to-development handoff processes
- Familiarity with user research methodologies and usability testing practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Design or related field
- Experience with cutting edge, visually appealing, and user oriented mobile and web applications
- Background in designing for behavior change and user engagement in health contexts
- Experience with A/B testing and data-driven design iteration
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards and integration challenges
- Previous experience in startup or high-growth technology environments
