Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Media, or a closely related discipline.
- Five or more years of professional experience designing and developing production-grade web or mobile applications with a strong emphasis on user experience and interface design.
- Strong, demonstrable understanding of user-centered design methodologies, information architecture, interaction design, accessibility standards, responsive design principles, and end-to-end product design processes.
- Advanced working knowledge of Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as React.
- Hands-on production experience creating responsive user interfaces, interactive prototypes, reusable design systems, component libraries, and scalable front-end architectures.
- Proven experience developing front-end applications using React, with working familiarity in Angular or Vue considered a strong plus.
- Strong knowledge of responsive web design, CSS frameworks, browser compatibility, accessibility (WCAG), front-end optimization techniques, and UI performance best practices.
- Solid experience with Git-based version control workflows, Agile development methodologies, design collaboration tools, developer handoff processes, and release management practices.
- Hands-on experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs, cloud-hosted applications, authentication systems, and modern deployment environments.
- Strong analytical thinking, usability evaluation, debugging, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to solve complex user experience challenges through research-driven design decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing enterprise applications involving dashboards, workflow management systems, data visualization, real-time collaboration features, or complex business applications.
- Familiarity with Storybook, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, SASS, animation libraries, Progressive Web Applications (PWAs), and modern front-end performance optimization techniques.
- Exposure to DesignOps, design thinking methodologies, accessibility auditing, service design, behavioral analytics, customer journey optimization, and enterprise design systems.
- Experience conducting usability testing, A/B experimentation, accessibility validation, design quality assurance, and contributing to user-centered design practices within Agile software development environments.
