This is a high-impact opportunity to move beyond traditional recruitment, taking full ownership of the end-to-end hiring lifecycle to attract and secure top-tier tech & engineering talent in a competitive market.

By partnering deeply with engineering leaders, you will turn market insights into hiring momentum and shape the candidate journey from the first point of contact to the first day. Your work will directly define the culture and capability of our Product & Tech team, ensuring we build a diverse and high-performing workforce that supports Xero's global mission.


The team / how they connect

You will join a Talent Experience (TX) team that focuses on making hiring human, data-driven, and genuinely impactful. Working closely with the local leadership and the global engineering TX partners, you will collaborate to run hiring events, assessment days, and community meetups that put Xero on the map.

The team is currently working on / Initially, you will focus on

  • Executing through proactive sourcing and high-velocity hiring events.

  • Building and managing robust pipelines for engineering and technical roles to meet ambitious growth targets.

  • Partnering with senior engineering stakeholders to refine role requirements and maintain a consistent hiring bar.

  • Utilising recruitment data and funnel insights to improve sourcing efficiency and candidate conversion rates.

  • A data-driven mindset allows you to use pipeline health and market intelligence to guide strategic decision-making.

  • You demonstrate a candidate-first approach, ensuring every person experiences a respectful, engaging, and transparent journey.

  • Comfort in navigating ambiguity and building new processes as you go will be essential for success in this scaling our team.

Compensation: Our midpoint TTR for this role is $121,000. Offers will be based on the skills and experience you bring, and we consider the overall package at Xero.
