Senior Test Manager - (Wealth and Asset Management, Pensions)

OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a skilled Senior Test Manager to join our team and lead the testing efforts for some exciting, large-scale software and platform projects—mainly within financial services, focusing on wealth management and pensions. If you’re someone who enjoys guiding both onshore and offshore teams, crafting clear test strategies, and working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver high-quality results, this role could be a great fit for you.

THINGS YOU WILL DO

• Take ownership of the entire testing process for big software implementations—from planning to execution and everything in between.

• Create smart, practical test strategies that align with business needs and industry standards.

• Work closely with your testing teams across different locations, making sure everyone’s motivated and on the same page.

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and project teams to keep everyone informed and aligned.

• Track progress, highlight risks early, and make sure we deliver quality software on time.

• Continuously look for ways to improve how we test and what tools we use.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCES YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE

• Solid experience managing testing teams and large software projects, ideally in financial services.

• Knowledge of wealth management or pensions would be a big plus.

• Comfortable managing both local and offshore teams.

• Skilled at writing clear test strategies and detailed plans.

• Confident working with senior leaders and communicating progress clearly.

• Familiar with Agile and other development practices.

• Great leadership skills—you know how to bring out the best in your team.

• Experience with test automation tools.

• Understanding of financial regulations and security standards.

• Familiarity with common test management and defect tracking software.
