We are seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team, focused on hardware engineering, software engineering, and product roles. This role will sit onsite at our Louisville, CO office and partner closely with hiring managers and the broader People team to deliver exceptional talent across a variety of highly technical disciplines. You will own full-cycle recruiting - from intake to offer, for complex engineering positions while delivering a best-in-class experience for both candidates and hiring managers. As a senior team member, you will also help shape our recruiting processes, tools, and employer brand as we grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for hardware, software, and product roles – from intake and sourcing through interview coordination, debrief facilitation, and offer negotiation.

  • Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand technical requirements, team goals, and project context, and translate that into refined, accurate candidate profiles.

  • Build and maintain strong pipelines of active and passive technical talent through direct sourcing, networking, referrals, and creative channel strategies.

  • Conduct thorough technical screens and assess candidate fit relative to role requirements, Red 6's mission, and our culture.

  • Manage candidate communication with urgency and professionalism at every stage - ensuring a consistently excellent experience regardless of outcome.

  • Design and refine interview frameworks and evaluation rubrics in partnership with engineering leaders to improve consistency and quality of hiring decisions.

  • Track metrics and manage pipeline progress in Ashby ATS, maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate data, notes, and stage hygiene.

  • Serve as a mentor and resource to more junior recruiting team members, sharing sourcing strategies, market insights, and best practices.

  • Support team initiatives around employer branding, recruiting process optimization, and workforce planning as needed.

Qualifications

Required

  • 7+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Proven success recruiting across hardware, software, or product engineering disciplines, including closing hard-to-source talent.

  • Strong sourcing capability across tools and channels (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, GitHub, professional networks, referrals, etc.) with a focus on quality and speed.

  • Demonstrated experience designing or contributing to interview frameworks and evaluation processes in partnership with engineering leadership.

  • Ability to work onsite in Louisville, CO.

  • U.S. Citizenship required (position supports U.S. Government contracts).

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.

  • Able to manage multiple reqs and stakeholders simultaneously without dropping the ball.

Preferred

  • Experience recruiting within defense, aerospace, AR/VR, embedded systems, or hardware systems industries.

  • Familiarity with ITAR-controlled environments and government contractor recruiting nuances.

  • Experience supporting or obtaining security clearances for candidates.

  • Experience using Ashby ATS.

  • Track record of building or improving employer brand programs and candidate experience initiatives.

  • Experience mentoring or managing junior recruiters.
    Pay Range:
    $120,000-$140,000
