This is a contract position, responsible for the effective and timely recruitment and placement of external candidates, with specific focus on Ryan’s Technology, Software and Platform departments. The position will conduct full lifecycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, moving candidates forward through the requisition, offer and onboard stages of the process. This role will need to maintain excellent relationships with various levels throughout the organization including Senior Leaders, Managers, and candidates.

Duties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results

People:

  • Create a positive team member experience.
  • Develop strong, collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders to drive effective hiring strategies.
  • Act as a mentor and lead by example for other recruiters.
  • Provide excellent support and ensure a positive candidate experience from initial contact to offer to hire to onboarding.
  • Partner with SVPs and leadership to understand their needs and determine the best strategies for identifying top candidates.
  • Works directly with Managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities in forecasting needs, submitting, and justifying requisitions, and interviewing and selecting candidates.
  • Follow up with managers regarding candidates that have been forwarded for consideration.
  • Train managers on usage of the ATS and the hiring process.

Client:

  • Manage full lifecycle recruiting for all technical roles, e.g., Senior Full Stack Developer, Senior Front-End Developer, and others.
  • Conduct intake calls to learn job details and desired traits.
  • Create requisitions, post, and manage jobs through Ryan’s ATS, Workday.
  • Conduct searches within the ATS and other recruiting sites to source strong candidates.
  • Generate warm and cold calls to potential candidates to develop pipelines and turn them into viable interested candidates.
  • Conduct phone interviews and provide summaries with recommendations of top candidates to hiring managers.
  • Administer technical tests to candidates as part of the prescreening process, as required.

  • Proactively seeks out benchmarking data through networking and formal sources to maintain awareness of our position in the market.
  • Advise on market findings when ideal candidate requirements and/or salary range exceed internal guidelines.
  • Develop candidate pipelines to ensure consistency between open requisitions and related recruiting activities.
  • Maintain required recruiting data for weekly and monthly reports.
  • Participate on committees and special projects and seeks additional responsibilities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience with full life-cycle technical recruiting and a strong network of technical professionals.

  • Advanced knowledge of candidate market; experience successfully recruiting in a fast-paced environment for software or technically niche roles.
  • Industry experience recruiting technology professionals at all experience levels.
  • Advanced internet research experience using Boolean search techniques.
  • Advanced knowledge in a wide range of existing and emerging sourcing skills.
  • Ability to effectively source, screen, recruit and recommend strong talent.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of recruiting related laws and practices.
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic, integrity, and personal accountability
  • Proven ability to adapt in a continually evolving environment and quickly pivot focus based on business needs, to continue to deliver results
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research. In addition, this position requires experience with using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Human Resources Information System (HRIS). Previous experience with Workday highly preferred.

Certificates and Licenses:

Valid driver's license required.
