OUR OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a Technical Senior Project Manager with strong Fintech expertise to lead high-impact projects in payments, digital banking, blockchain, regtech, and data-driven platforms. You will drive projects end-to-end using Agile and hybrid methodologies, managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders while ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and compliance requirements.

This role requires hands-on knowledge of modern technology stacks, regulatory frameworks, and project management practices. You will play a critical role in aligning delivery with strategic objectives, mentoring engineers, and contributing to organizational growth.

YOU WILL:

 

»       Lead end-to-end project management for complex programs involving multiple squads, technologies, and stakeholders.

»       Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria in collaboration with business and technical stakeholders.

»       Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.

»       Oversee project execution, ensuring timely delivery of milestones while maintaining quality and managing scope changes.

»       Apply Agile principles and Scrum practices to drive iterative delivery, continuous improvement, and stakeholder engagement.

»       Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies proactively.

»       Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews) to promote team efficiency and transparency.

»       Provide clear and consistent communication to executives, sponsors, and stakeholders through status reports and presentations.

»       Drive alignment between business goals and technical execution.

»       Lead end-to-end project delivery across multiple streams (payments, open banking, lending platforms, digital wallets, regtech, data platforms).

»       Create and maintain detailed project roadmaps, sprint plans, and OKRs.

»       Manage Agile delivery teams (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) while integrating DevOps/DevSecOps practices into project execution.

»       Oversee collaboration across engineering, QA, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and compliance teams.

»       Ensure delivery aligns with ISO 27001, PCI DSS, GDPR, PSD2, SAMA, and SOC 2 compliance standards.

»       Drive adoption of cloud-native solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP), API-first development, and microservices architectures.

»       Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to refine backlog, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

»       Monitor and control budgets, risks, and quality, ensuring timely delivery.

»       Prepare and deliver executive-level dashboards, KPIs, and project health reports.

»       Mentor junior PMs and engineers, promoting best practices in Agile and secure software delivery.



Requirements

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU NEED:

 

»       BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

»       Minimum 8–10 years in IT project management, with at least 4+ years in Fintech or Financial Services software development.

»       Deep understanding of Agile methodology and the Scrum framework, with hands-on experience leading Agile teams.

»       Experience in the Fintech domain, including exposure to financial systems, digital payments, or regulatory compliance.

»       Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies).

»       Proven success in delivering large-scale, client-facing fintech platforms.

»       Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, budgets, and timelines in a fast-paced environment.

»       Exceptional stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.

»       Deep understanding of Agile frameworks, DevSecOps integration, and CI/CD pipelines.

»       Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and API ecosystems.

»       Familiarity with AI/ML use cases in Fintech (fraud detection, credit scoring, risk analysis).

»       Solid grasp of cybersecurity and regulatory compliance in finance.

»       Experience with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, Confluence, or similar platforms.

Delivery-oriented with strong problem-solving, risk management, and leadership abilities.
