The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Technical Program Manager to lead the execution of our AI-Enhanced Services roadmap. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving cross-functional collaboration, managing complex technical dependencies, and ensuring the successful delivery of AI/HyperAutomation (HA) features that will transform our service delivery model and improve our client experience.
Responsibilities
- Program Leadership & Execution
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic AI-enhanced services initiatives, with a primary focus on integrating AI into TDR operations and platform capabilities.
- Drive the implementation of AI-driven alert reduction, automated case management, and enhanced detection/reporting.
- Manage the "Crawl, Walk, Run" implementation phases (0-24 months) for various AI initiatives, ensuring adherence to timelines and objectives.
- Oversee the simplification of service offerings from seven to three core offerings and the development of a specific offering for Partner/Channel growth.
- Deep Technical Acumen
- Significant experience working with cybersecurity threat services and associated technology
- Possess a deep technical understanding and experience with AI/ML concepts, data pipelines, and scalable software architectures.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and architecture teams to influence technical design decisions, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and align with long-term platform strategy.
- Proactively identify technical challenges, propose alternative solutions, and drive consensus among technical leads.
- Understand and articulate complex technical trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Cross-functional Collaboration & Engineering Practices
- Foster tight collaboration with Engineering (Platform teams, Purple Engineering, Purple AI), Product Strategy, Analyst Experience, and Product Engineering to ensure alignment and successful delivery of critical AI/HA features and Global Tenancy.
- Champion best engineering practices, including continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD), testing methodologies, and code quality, within the context of the program.
- Act as a central point of contact for all stakeholders, providing clear communication and managing expectations across teams.
- Technical Program Management
- Identify and manage complex technical dependencies across multiple teams and systems.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks to program success, escalating issues to leadership as needed.
- Work closely with product, architecture and engineering teams to define technical requirements, scope projects, and track progress against key milestones.
- Stakeholder Management
- Communicate program status, risks, and achievements to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Guide existing organizations and leaders through the evolution of service delivery models, particularly the new TDR path through Channel/Partner sales motions.
- Build consensus and alignment on priorities, equities, and help executives navigate complex decisionmaking.
- KPI Tracking & Reporting
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for financial, operational, and customer impact metrics, including cost savings, N/U ACV, alert triage reduction, time per support ticket, SLO/SLA changes, FNs/FP rates, and CSAT.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in technical program management, with a strong focus on large-scale software development and cross-functional initiatives.
- Past experience in Managed Detection & Response, Incident Response, Threat Hunting, or Intelligence. Ideal candidate will have experience in several of these areas.
- Demonstrated deep technical understanding of AI/ML concepts, data science workflows, and cloud-native architectures.
- Proven ability to engage with engineering at a detailed technical level, contributing to architectural discussions and challenging technical assumptions.
- Proven experience leading programs involving AI/ML, automation, and platform integration.
- Deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, specifically in Threat Detection and Response (TDR), Security Operations, and Technical Support.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex technical dependencies and drive alignment across diverse engineering and product teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies and channel/partner enablement.
- Familiarity with financial planning and ROI analysis for technical programs.
- Experience with technologies like PurpleAI, Intercom, and Databricks.
- Experience driving engineering excellence initiatives and promoting best practices within development teams.
