This role requires deep technical expertise, instructional design experience, and the ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts (SMEs), product teams, and stakeholders. You will contribute to both self-paced and instructor-led training by developing courseware, hands-on labs, and automation scripts. Additionally, you will mentor junior team members and support instructor enablement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop technical courseware, hands-on labs, and training materials in collaboration with SMEs and instructional designers.
  • Create and maintain self-paced e-learning, instructor-led training (ILT), and virtual instructor-led training (vILT) content, including slide decks, lab guides, and automation scripts.
  • Develop and support hands-on labs leveraging automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Deliver occasional instructor-led training sessions for internal teams and technical trainers.
  • Support instructor enablement through the development of instructor guides, train-the-trainer sessions, and course updates.
  • Continuously improve existing training content based on learner feedback, product updates, and instructional best practices.
  • Work independently while collaborating effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in technical training, curriculum development, or instructional design.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into engaging, digestible training content.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of how Internet protocols work (HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP, SSH, SMB, FTP, Telnet, LDAP/LDAPS, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of data formats and structures (JSON, CSV, SQL/NoSQL, etc.).
  • Knowledge of networking topology, network configuration and components (firewalls, routers, etc.), endpoint security technologies (AV, EDR, malware detection, etc.), cloud security principles, and vulnerability management.
  • 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) (Terraform, CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager).

Nice to Have:

  • Programming/scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
  • Experience with cybersecurity frameworks, compliance standards, and threat detection.
  • Industry certifications (AWS Certified Security, Azure Security Engineer, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, CISSP, etc.).
