As a Senior Systems Engineer you will be responsible for;

  • Building and maintaining the full systems engineering model for a wide range of customer and project types.Developing core systems engineering artifacts including:
    • Concept of Operations (ConOps)
    • Requirements solicitation, analysis, and management
    • Use cases and behavioral diagrams
    • System architecture definitions
    • Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
    • Trade studies, risk analysis, and verification plans
  • Creating systems engineering documentation using traditional tools (Visio, Word, Excel, SharePoint) or MBSE platforms (e.g., Cameo, CORE, DOORS, Cradle).
  • Leading or supporting design reviews and preparing all required systems engineering content.
  • Ensuring adherence to ALTEN Technology Quality System processes.
  • Serving as a technical leader across projects of varying size and complexity, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.Communicating requirements, risks, technical issues, and system-level decisions to both internal teams and customers.
  • Supporting integration and verification planning and execution.
  • Managing configuration control and maintaining accurate systems documentation.
  • Monitoring scope creep and providing technical status to project management.
  • Assisting with project estimates and supporting the sales/quoting process.
  • Providing temporary project-management support when the PM is unavailable.
  • Mentoring junior systems engineers as required.

Qualifications;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technical Management.
  • 6+ years of engineering or product development experience with demonstrated systems engineering leadership.
  • Must have Aerospace or Defense experience
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering processes, requirements development, risk identification, and architecture modeling.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present technical information to customers and leadership.
  • Familiarity with MBSE tools such as Cameo, DOORS, Cradle, or CORE.


Salary Range: $110k-$150k 

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
