This is a hybrid position located in Denver, Colorado requiring 1-2 days per month in office.
JOB SUMMARY
Highly motivated SDET3 with a solid background in quality assurance and software testing. Hybrid role combines technical proficiency with testing expertise to ensure delivery of reliable, high-quality systems. Ideal candidate should possess sufficient programming skills to design automated testing solution and troubleshoot system issues effectively.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Test Strategy and Planning
Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans that align with system requirements and project goals.
Define test objectives, scope, resources, and schedules for efficient execution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the test plan addresses all system components and interfaces.
Continuously assess risks and adjust strategies to ensure thorough coverage and minimize project delays.
Test Automation
Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for efficient testing cycles.
Automate repetitive and time-consuming test cases using scripting languages (e.g., C#, .Net) and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
Analyze automation results, debug failures, and optimize test scripts for better coverage and performance.
Manual Testing
Conduct detailed manual testing for scenarios requiring human judgment or exploratory testing.
Perform functional, usability, and regression testing to identify defects an validate system behavior.
Document test cases, execute test scenarios, and log results for manual testing activities.
Validate edge cases, negative scenarios, and complex workflows not easily automated.
System Integration and Validation
Test and validate integrated systems to ensure seamless interaction between hardware, software, and external interfaces.
Conduct end-to-end testing of system functionalities, including hardware-software communication and data flows.
Perform performance, stress, and scalability testing to ensure the system meets operational requirements.
Simulate real-world conditions to identify issues and validate the robustness of the system.
Defect Management
Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Azure DevOps.
Collaborate with development teams to investigate root causes and resolve issues effectively.
Conduct regression testing to verify defect fixes and ensure no unintended side effects.
Maintain a defect management database with clear prioritization and status updates.
Collaboration and Reporting
Work closely with system architects, developers, and stakeholders to align testing efforts with system design and business objectives.
Lead test case reviews, status meetings, and design walkthroughs to ensure clarity and shared understanding.
Prepare detailed test reports summarizing results, defect analysis, and recommendations for improvements.
Communicate progress, risks, and challenges to management and cross-functional teams.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent required.
5+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, including automated and manual testing plus 2–3 years in a software development or SDET role.
Strong knowledge of testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or equivalent).
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., C#, .NET, Java) for automation purposes..
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycles and Agile methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong knowledge of testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Playwright, TestRail, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or equivalent).
Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Visual Studio Code, C#, .NET, Java) for automation purposes.

This is a hybrid position, combining both in-office and remote work, allowing for flexibility while maintaining collaboration and productivity
SALARY RANGE: $119,000 to $132,000 annually depending upon experience.
This position is also eligible for an annual bonus based on the successful completion of defined performance objectives.
Benefits: In addition to up to 9 paid company holidays per year, employees are eligible for up to 8 days of sick pay. Moreover, eligible employees with less than 10 years of service can accrue up to 15 PTO days per year (and up to 20 PTO days per year upon 10 or more years of service). Employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Plan. Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage. Employees are covered by company-paid disability, basic life insurance and parental leave. Voluntary insurance coverage options, including critical illness, accident, and hospital indemnity, are also available. In addition, the Company offers an Employee Assistance Program and tuition reimbursement (as applicable). Employees may also be eligible for state required benefits such as paid family and medical leave insurance and/or paid sick time as applicable.
