Job Description:
- Temporary position starting ASAP (week of 2/9) through April 30, with the possibility of extension or conversion to full‑time
- Experience supporting Integrated Marketing Campaigns (IMC/IAT), including large‑scale, long‑term brand partnerships
- Act as a representative of the agency in cross‑agency collaborations and client‑facing forums
- Demonstrate strong client communication skills, collaboration, and confidence in senior‑level discussions
- Proven experience in social strategy
- Agency experience preferred, though not a strict requirement
- CPG experience required; food and beverage experience preferred but not mandatory

The Senior Strategist, Social Marketing & Strategy will be the keeper of the social strategy and owner of driving innovative, inspiring & award winning work that meet our clients business goals. As Senior Strategist, Social Marketing & Strategy, you are expected to be tapped into the pulse of culture and quickly able to identify opportunities for our clients’ to engage. You will advocate for the right set of actions on social platforms to implement a strategy and help create the necessary consensus within both the internal client team and the client's organization to achieve results. You will serve as a leader within the Social Marketing group and a “go to” for content insights, ideas, and ways to work across the client organization
Person Specification
- 1+ years of experience in advertising or agency setting
- 6-8 years of related experience
- Cross team superstar collaborator with a high level of maturity
- Can combine creative content ideas with smart social media strategies to drive business results.
- Excellent verbal, written, visual communicator (can hold a meeting without an AD, present thoughtful ideas, lead sharing of recommendations)
- Experience “Managing up” and bringing solutions/ identifing the problems
- Comms Planning: Should have a basic understanding of how to construct a comms framework to inform a creative and/or media plan
- Keen attention to detail
- Ideal candidates are passionate about the ever-changing world of social marketing, conversations in culture and all things social media, from Instagram to TikTok. Candidates should have a keen interest in emerging trends across these platforms and recognize the impact of social marketing in an overall marketing strategy

Employees who live within a commutable distance of one of our hub offices, currently located in Chicago, metro Detroit, Los Angeles, and New York City, are required and expected to work from the office three days per week (two days per week for employees based in Los Angeles). Dentsu may designate other Hub offices at any time. Those who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.
The hourly pay range for this position is $53.55 - $71.39. The hourly pay rate for the successful candidate is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Temporary employees are eligible for paid holidays in accordance with dentsu policy, as well as safe and sick time. This position is not eligible for any other benefits or other compensation.
