About the Opportunity:
The Senior Strategist is responsible for defining strategy, setting direction, and influencing high-impact decisions for large, complex Amazon businesses generating $10M+ in annual revenue. This role operates at a strategic level, serving as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders and guiding long-term growth across advertising, catalog, promotions, expansion, and profitability.
The Senior Strategist works in ambiguity, diagnoses complex business challenges, and designs tailored Amazon growth frameworks. This role shapes long-term outcomes for high-growth brands while influencing agency-wide thinking through expert insight, pattern recognition, and best practices
What You’ll Do:
- Own strategic leadership for large, complex Amazon accounts, serving as the senior client-facing lead
- Define long-term growth strategies across advertising, catalog, promotions, expansion, and profitability
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, guiding high-impact business decisions
- Diagnose complex business challenges and design tailored Amazon strategies to unlock growth
- Partner closely with Advertising, Catalog, and Operations leaders to ensure strategy is executed effectively
- Lead strategic planning for high-stakes moments such as Prime Day, Q4, launches, restructures, and major inflection points
- Conduct deep performance analysis to identify opportunities for improvement for high-growth brands generating $1M+/month in sales
- Identify growth opportunities for brands managing $100k+/month or more in ad spend and proactively communicate strategic solutions
- Analyze business and marketplace trends to uncover new growth opportunities and ensure performance targets are met or exceeded
- Lead strategic planning sessions and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with senior client stakeholders
- Balance short-term performance with long-term brand and marketplace positioning
- Influence agency-wide strategy through expert insight, pattern recognition, and contribution to best practices and frameworks
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 8+ years in Amazon account management or a similar role, preferably in an agency setting.
- Proven success managing complex client portfolios with $10M+ in annual Amazon sales
- Expert-level understanding of Amazon's growth levers including PPC, DSP, AMC, SEO, A+ Content, Storefronts, Promotions, and Brand Registry
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data and develop actionable strategies
- Strong leadership and client communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented
What We Offer:
- Competitive base salary: $130,000 - $160,000 + variable compensation; OTE $160,000-$200,000
