Role - Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS Bedrock AgentCore)

Job Overview:

• Purpose of Position Implement cloud infrastructure, automation, and DevOps best practices while contributing to real-world projects in a supportive environment. 
• Support platform and engineering teams while exploring tools and processes critical to modern DevOps workflows with a specialization in AWS Bedrock AgentCore. 
• Essential Functions: AWS Bedrock AgentCore DevOps Consulting and Implementation.
• Cloud Infrastructure Support: Assist in provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure, primarily AWS Bedrock AgentCore.
• Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Help implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and AWS CLI.
• CI/CD Pipeline Support: Contribute to building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Bitbucket Pipelines.
• Monitoring, Reliability & Troubleshooting: Support the team in monitoring, alerting, and documenting system health and reliability practices. 
• Participate in troubleshooting and support efforts to maintain uptime and system reliability.
• Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Help improve infrastructure and deployment documentation for better knowledge sharing.
• Collaboration & Learning: Collaborate with software engineers and DevOps professionals to understand and assist with day-to-day platform engineering tasks.
• Other Duties: Perform additional tasks, duties, and responsibilities as needed or assigned by leadership to support departmental and organizational objectives.

Must have:

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps.
• AWS Bedrock AgentCore , AWS Cloud Formation, DevOps - AWS (Strong).
• Specialization in AWS Bedrock AgentCore with a focus on DevOps.
• Exposure to programming or scripting languages such as Node, Java, Python, Bash, or similar through coursework or personal projects required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team required.

Good to have:

• Familiarity with distributed version control systems such as Git required.
• Interest in cloud technologies, particularly AWS services such as Bedrock AgentCore, ECS, EC2, and Lambda required.
• Familiarity with modern CI/CD practices required.
• Awareness of security best practices and compliance standards such as SOC 2 required.
• Eagerness to contribute, ask questions, and hit the ground running with AWS Bedrock AgentCore in a collaborative engineering environment required.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field required.
