We are looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to play a key role in strengthening our accounting operations as we scale. You will own critical components of the close process, bring structure to complex data, and help improve how we work across systems, processes, and teams.
This is a high-impact individual contributor role where strong execution, sound judgment, and a continuous improvement mindset will directly influence the quality, accuracy, and speed of our financial reporting.
What you’ll doOwn & Execute Core AccountingLead key components of the month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
Own complex account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of discrepancies
Support revenue recognition and deferred revenue accounting in alignment with ASC 606
Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Partner with FP&A and cross-functional teams to ensure financial data is accurate and actionable
Support year-end audit processes and maintain audit-ready documentation
Identify and implement improvements to close timelines, workflows, and reporting accuracy
Partner cross-functionally to streamline data flows and reduce manual work
Strengthen adherence to internal controls, policies, and scalable accounting practices
You bring 5–8+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a SaaS or high-growth environment
You have a strong foundation in GAAP, with experience applying ASC 606 principles
You consistently deliver high-quality, accurate work and take ownership of outcomes
You are highly proficient in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) and comfortable working with large datasets
You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across teams
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, GP, or similar) in complex environments
Exposure to process improvement, automation, or system implementations
CPA or progress toward certification
You’re detail-oriented but can zoom out to identify patterns and improvements
You operate with urgency while maintaining a high bar for accuracy
You’re curious and proactive, and look for better ways to get work done (including leveraging automation or AI)
You take pride in being a reliable teammate others can depend on
Location: This role is primarily remote (US-based) and operates in EST hours, with occasional travel for team collaboration and company events.
