Senior Fullstack Engineer
Location: Denver Tech Center (Hybrid)
Reports To: CTO
BulkSource is digitizing the construction materials industry – a multi-billion-dollar market that has historically operated through phone calls, spreadsheets, and manual processes. We're a founder-led company with multiple successful exits, building the software infrastructure that modernizes how materials move across America.
We're looking for a hands-on, AI-native Senior Fullstack Engineer who loves building products, shipping features, and solving real customer problems. You'll work across the stack, collaborate closely with product and engineering leadership, and use modern AI tools to accelerate development and deliver meaningful business impact.
The Role
You will:
- Design, build, and ship customer-facing features across our platform
- Work across the full stack using Django, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Azure
- Integrate AI capabilities and LLM-powered workflows into core product experiences
- Collaborate with engineers, product stakeholders, and founders to rapidly deliver value
- Own projects from concept through production deployment
- Write maintainable, well-tested code and participate in code reviews
- Help improve development workflows, deployment processes, and engineering best practices
- Use AI development tools effectively to increase velocity, improve quality, and accelerate problem solving
This is a highly hands-on role focused on building, shipping, and iterating quickly while maintaining strong engineering fundamentals.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong experience building and maintaining SaaS applications
- Solid Django and Python experience
- Strong React and TypeScript skills
- Experience designing and working with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
- Experience deploying and operating applications in cloud environments (Azure preferred)
- Familiarity with AI APIs, LLMs, agent workflows, or AI-powered product features
- Comfortable using AI coding tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) as part of daily development workflows
- Strong product mindset with the ability to balance speed, quality, and business impact
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup environment with changing priorities

- Understand the platform, development workflows, and customer use cases
- Ship meaningful production code and contribute to active feature work
60 Days
- Independently deliver features across both frontend and backend systems
- Contribute to AI-powered initiatives and product enhancements
90 Days
- Own projects end-to-end with minimal oversight
- Consistently ship high-quality features that improve customer outcomes
- Help the team leverage AI tools and workflows to increase development velocity
