Lead development efforts toward the creation, implementation, and support of existing and next-generation software solutions.
Key Duties:
- Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs
- Design and implement technological solutions using Core Java, Postgres SQL and Elastic Search Index
- Perform REST API design and implementation using Java
- Design and develop UI applications using Angular, TypeScript and JavaScript
- Serve as team lead and coordinate code and design reviews and key project deliverables
- Perform automated testing using selenium, postman, and pgTab
- Design, develop, and support next-generation web based SaaS solutions (AWS)
- Design and develop data architecture, data definition and data manipulation structures in Postgres SQL
- Design and develop ETL process that handle large data volume, messaging (queues, topics)
Required Education, Certifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 8 years of related experience
- 5 years of experience designing and developing applications using Java (Core Java, REST APIs, Spring framework, MVC, Apache SOLR and PostgreSQL database)
- 5 years of experience designing and developing ETL solutions using messaging queues (topics, events)
- 5 years of experience developing UI screens using Java Script, Type Script, Angular
- 8 years of experience serving as team lead for software application development team
- 3 years of experience deploying applications and maintaining web based SaaS Solutions in AWS
Must live within normal commuting distance of worksite. Must work in office 1 day per week.
Estimated Salary Range: $174,700 to $184,700
The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the GHX’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of GHX’s total compensation package for employees.
