WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Design, code, and document software in C#, .NET and Typescript/Javascript
- Collaborate with other engineers, UI/UX designers, quality analysts and product managers from product development teams across the company
- Implement best patterns and practices of object-oriented design: avoid redundancy and promote efficiency, testability and supportability of code
- Contribute to code reviews and help foster a culture of innovation within the team
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- Expert-level knowledge in object-oriented programming
- 5+ years of experience with API development/management
- 3+ years of relational database design and support at scale
- Experience with Javascript frameworks (React)
- Experience scaling systems in a cloud environment (AWS)
- Basic understanding of financial technology applications
- The ability to dissolve complex requirements into manageable units of work
- Demonstrated aptitude to proactively manage project development and tasks
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
WHAT WOULD ALSO BE AWESOME
- Experience with Amazon Aurora / RDS
- Experience integrating multiple platforms through APIs and asynchronous messaging
- Understanding of TDD and unit-testing strategies
