Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with a strong focus on C++ to join the R&D technology team developing immersive AR/VR technologies. This role will require exceptional C++ skills, experience with sensor integration, and the ability to rapidly prototype interactive systems. You will work closely with hardware and software engineers to deliver robust solutions for real-time data processing, sensor calibration, and game engine integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement real-time software solutions in C++ for sensor-driven systems

  • Integrate sensor data with visual experiences, ensuring accuracy and performance.

  • Develop robust software tools used to support engineering and manufacturing workflows

  • Work on interactive AR/VR installations and ensure professional-grade coding practices, including but not limited to SIL and high-dynamic environments.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to rapidly prototype and iterate hardware/software solutions

  • Support algorithm development and develop UI for internal tools

  • Develop tools and systems to ensure seamless integration with game engines like Unreal Engine

  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve existing software systems

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degrees preferred)

  • 5+ years of professional C++ development

  • Experience with sensor integration, particularly for visual experiences

  • Experience and knowledge in development of rendering engines and their implementation

  • Experience with embedded systems

  • Ability to rapidly prototype and iterate on real-time systems

  • Experience developing alongside real-world hardware applications

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and improve complex algorithms

  • Qualified candidates must have the ability to obtain a security clearance. This requires U.S. Citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine or similar game engines

  • Knowledge or previous processional experience with Python

  • Strong knowledge of optical calibration, lens rectification, and sensor systems.
