What Skills & Experience You Should Bring:

Strong proficiency and experience working with the Java tech stack.

Experience developing microservices in AWS, Azure or both.

Research and development software engineering background.

Experience with the cloud platforms AWS or Azure.
Nice to have, not required:

Cloud migration experience from AWS to Azure.
What you’ll Do:

Design and maintain cloud infrastructure for large-scale data collection and processing from 20,000+ globally deployed heavy industry machines.

Build and optimize a robust cloud platform that facilitates real-time, bi-directional communication between field operations, back-office systems, and machines.

Develop and enhance APIs that power tablet applications, delivering critical data visualization and machine control capabilities to its end users.

Execute the migration of our cloud services from AWS to Azure.

Utilize your proficiency in the Java tech stack to contribute to backend cloud engineering projects.

Share your expertise and foster team growth through mentorship and collaborative problem-solving with Software Engineers on your team.

Our Division:
Trimble Civil Field Solutions develops positioning and control products for earthmoving and paving machines in the construction and mining industries. These products utilize technologies such as GPS, optical total stations, lasers, and sonics. They are used in a variety of applications where accurate horizontal and vertical guidance is essential for machine operators.
