The Role

You’ll collaborate with top-tier client teams to design scalable, secure infrastructure, elevate engineering practices, and ship code that matters. What You’ll Do

• Lead or contribute to high-impact platform initiatives that improve developer experience, reliability, and scalability.
• Architect and implement robust infrastructure solutions across compute, storage, networking, and CI/CD.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code in modern languages.
• Collaborate with APrime colleagues and client teams to define requirements, align on timelines, and deliver solutions with minimal oversight.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional experience in a full-time Software Engineering, SRE, DevOps / Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering role
• 3+ years of hands-on development experience in modern object-oriented languages (e.g., Python, Go, TypeScript), with a focus on clean code and strong documentation
• Significant experience managing infrastructure on a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL) and how they behave at scale
• Hands-on Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi, AWS CDK)
• Strong experience with containerization and orchestration, ex. Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, or self-managed), ECS, or Fargate
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, CircleCI, ArgoCD)
• Strong verbal communication skills in English are required. This is a client-facing role, and candidates must be able to communicate technical concepts clearly and fluently with both internal and external stakeholders.
• A valid LinkedIn profile is required to be considered. This helps us verify that applicants are legitimate and professional. We do not require use of LinkedIn after hire.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with Engineering teams to improve application and platform observability, using tools like DataDog, NewRelic
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, finance, or other compliance-driven domains)
• Exposure to microservices architecture and related tools or concepts such as gRPC, Protobuf, distributed tracing, or service mesh technologies

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive base salary of 180k, and up to 90k bonus.
  • Generous incentive and bonus plans, including individual and company performance bonuses, client and candidate referral incentives and “billable hour” bonuses that can total up to 50% of base pay

Base Compensation for our Senior Software Engineer 2 position is  $180,000. Our compensation package also includes generous incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual bonus, referral commission, and equity incentives that can total up to 50% over base pay.
