The Position:
- Conduct software architecture, design, and coding activities to support new features and existing functional components
- Contribute to vision for and execute on evolving the company’s ground-breaking care and population health management platform
- Develop services and other system components for existing and new functionality
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and other members of the engineering team
- Support senior technology executives and add value with respect to strategic discussions and key technology decisions
- Investigate ongoing requests and tasks and ensure timely delivery of the necessary fixes
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years in enterprise technology development
- Expertise and experience with PHP, Symfony (+ Doctrine) and Yii frameworks preferred
- Expertise and experience with MySQL or other RDBMS
- Knowledge of JavaScript or/and TypeScript, HTML/CSS, REST API
- Knowledge of Agile methodology, common architectural patterns, Object Oriented Programming (OOP), and standard development tools (version control, project tracking, collaboration, etc.)
- Understanding of most common AWS services – S3, RDS, EC2, etc.
- Knowledge of application development using streaming or message queuing (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client engagement and cross-functional collaboration
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise and experience with C# and .NET framework
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases - Redis, ElasticSearch, Mongo, Document DB, etc.
- Experience with AWS services, especially microservice architecture
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and Orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Strong architectural skills
