Position Summary: 

At EverDriven, we believe in self empowered teams and engineers who can take a product from concept through delivery. We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to help build and evolve the systems that power safe and efficient student transportation. 

This role will work across the stack, designing and building backend services, APIs, and workflows while also owning meaningful frontend development in our web portals. You will contribute to customer facing experiences, internal tools, and platform services, partnering closely with product, design, and other engineers to deliver high quality, scalable solutions. 

The ideal candidate is comfortable moving across the stack, cares deeply about code quality and system design, and can balance thoughtful architecture with pragmatic delivery. 

Salary Range: $140,000- $155,000/year, based on experience + bonus potential  
Location - Greenwood Village, CO. Hybrid role - 4 days in office, 1 day remote 

How You Will Make an Impact: 

  • Design, build, and evolve backend services, APIs, and workflows that support EverDriven’s web applications, internal tools, and external integrations 
  • Lead initiatives end to end, from technical design and scoping through implementation and delivery 
  • Apply modern distributed systems patterns such as microservices, event driven architectures, and orchestration to build scalable and reliable systems 
  • Own and deliver frontend features using React and TypeScript, contributing to intuitive and performant user experiences 
  • Partner closely with product managers and designers to translate business needs into well structured technical solutions 
  • Balance architectural rigor with practical delivery, making thoughtful tradeoffs to ship value quickly without sacrificing long term maintainability 
  • Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and consistent application of engineering best practices 
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative, high trust team environment 
  • Help define and uphold standards for architecture, code quality, and delivery across the team 

What You Will Bring to EverDriven: 

  • Strong experience building backend services and APIs for distributed systems 
  • Professional experience working across the full stack, including frontend development with React and TypeScript 
  • A solid understanding of RESTful API design, data modeling, and system level design 
  • Experience working in cloud based environments and data stores. Our current stack includes Microsoft Azure, C#, Azure Cosmos DB, MS SQL Server or Azure SQL, Azure Service Bus, GraphQL, and React 
  • Comfort applying data structures, algorithms, and design patterns to real world problems 
  • Experience building systems that are scalable, observable, and maintainable 
  • The ability to work effectively across teams and technical domains 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

Language and Platform Experience 

  • Strong engineering fundamentals and experience building production systems in one or more modern backend languages such as C#, Java, or similar 
  • Ability and willingness to work within EverDriven’s existing technology stack while bringing best practices from prior environments 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred
