As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will enhance backend services, prototype tools, and collaborate with teams to develop applications using various technologies.
As a Full Stack Software Engineer at Windfall, you’ll be making things work from start to finish. When we say “full stack”, we really mean it. You’ll be connecting services, creating API’s, and building out UI’s across multiple products in a fast-paced, collaborative, and highly-iterative environment. At our offices in San Francisco, you’ll be working in close proximity to senior leadership that can provide you with a wealth of technical, product, and business knowledge to help you grow your career.
As a member of our Application Team, you’ll be bringing to life innovative, AI-driven features in our customer-facing application as well as complex tooling for our internal teams, including Customer Success, Business Development, and Engineering.

What you will do:
- Improve, extend, and tie together existing backend services to support our internal-facing applications
- Rapidly prototype new tools and features that will make an immediate impact on the business
- Contribute to a highly collaborative, feedback-driven, fast-paced engineering team
- Develop broad ownership over our internal applications, including setting coding patterns, best practices, and guidelines
- Collaborate closely with our product team to plan and execute projects at rapid speed

Requirements:
- 4+ years of professional experience designing, building, and maintaining web applications
- Willingness to work a hybrid onsite schedule in our San Francisco or Denver office
- Experience developing server-side using an object-oriented approach, building API’s, and working with a modern frontend framework.
- Experience using transactional databases
- Proficiency with at least one major cloud provider is essential
- Ability to move quickly in a startup environment
- Impeccable attention to detail

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across California. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. California: Salary range is $160k - $215k + Equity
