🎭 About the role
We’re looking to continue growing our globally distributed software engineering team. We’re looking for critical thinkers who enjoy owning and solving hard problems in the front-end space.
As a Senior Front-End Engineer, you’ll be responsible for building user-facing features and interfaces with a focus on performance, accessibility, and scalability. You will collaborate closely with design, product, and back-end teams to deliver seamless user experiences that align with our mission.
We are open to applicants located in LatAm for this role.
What you’ll be doing (i.e. job duties):
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive web interfaces using TypeScript and React.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end product features.
- Ensure performance and scalability of the front-end applications.
- Create reusable components and ensure consistency in UI/UX design.
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain a high level of code quality through best practices, including code reviews and testing.
What we look for in you (i.e. job requirements):
- 5+ years of experience in front-end development.
- Strong expertise in TypeScript and React.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with back-end services.
- Solid understanding of front-end performance optimization and accessibility best practices.
- Proficiency in modern CSS frameworks and tools (e.g., Styled Components, TailwindCSS).
- Experience with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Able to thrive at a startup, i.e., in a fast-paced environment with high levels of ambiguity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to haves/Bonus Attributes:
- Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.
- Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and frameworks like Next.js.
- Exposure to testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
- Familiarity with design systems and tools like Figma.
- Experience working with GraphQL APIs.
- Knowledge of front-end security best practices.
