At NVIDIA, our Cloud Engineering Services organization is at the heart of ensuring that our massive scale operates with zero friction! We are responsible for architecting and operating secure, scalable foundational cloud services—including authorization, account and tenancy management, and security services. These services form the core fabric powering NVIDIA's internal platforms, enterprise offerings, and customer-facing cloud products.
What You'll Be Doing:
Architect and build the next-generation authorization service that meets evolving business needs.
Build for internet-scale with a focus on delivering strong guarantees in reliability, redundancy, fault tolerance, and security.
Develop core primitives and onboarding workflows that make it easy for teams across NVIDIA to adopt and integrate with the service.
Build robust monitoring, alerting, and operational insights to ensure top-tier performance and service health.
What We Need to See:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of proven experience building backend or distributed systems in Golang, Java, or Python.
Strong hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
Ways to Stand Out from the Crowd:
Experience building Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) or Policy-Based Access Control (PBAC) systems in cloud or distributed environments.
Familiarity with identity and authorization standards: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, SCIM.
1+ years in a technical leadership role, driving architecture or guiding teams.
Experience with modern cloud-native technologies: Kubernetes, Envoy, Prometheus, Grafana.
Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience or operational excellence mindset.
