Role:  Senior Software Developer - Frontend 

Experience Level: 5+ yrs

Work Location: US/Canada (Remote)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, build, and scale modern web applications within complex, cloud-based infrastructure environments. In this role, you will work across the full stack, contributing to highly performant user interfaces, backend services, and containerized deployments. You will collaborate closely with product, architecture, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js

• Build and support backend services and APIs using Python

• Develop, containerize, and deploy applications using Docker within complex infrastructure environments

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Architecture, and DevOps to deliver end-to-end solutions

• Contribute to system design discussions, architecture decisions, and technical roadmaps

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and reliability

• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance through code reviews and design discussions

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript

• Extensive experience building modern front-end applications with React and Next.js

• Solid backend development experience using Python

• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized application deployments

• Experience working within complex, distributed, or cloud-based infrastructure environments

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and modern web architecture

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

Other Qualifications (OQs):

• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS or Azure)

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Experience with microservices architectures

• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform)

• Exposure to security best practices and performance optimization
