The Role
As the Senior Social Media Manager, you’ll bring SchoolAI’s brand voice to life across the social landscape. You’ll own our social strategy, content creation, and community engagement—building authentic connections with educators, coaches, and district leaders who are shaping the future of learning.
This is both a creative and strategic role: you’ll craft compelling stories, drive trends that spark conversation, and translate data into insights that shape how we show up as a brand. You’ll collaborate closely with our Brand Director, partner cross-functionally with growth and product marketing teams, and lead a network of freelance content creators to deliver thumb-stopping, high-impact content.
What You'll Do
- Lead the development and execution of SchoolAI’s organic social strategy across Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and Pinterest.
- Create engaging, on-brand content that educates, inspires, and celebrates teachers, coaches, and district leaders.
- Identify and activate trends, partnerships, and storytelling opportunities that grow awareness and community connection.
- Manage freelance creators and collaborate on high-quality visual and video content.
- Collaborate with the paid growth team to align campaigns and messaging while maintaining clear ownership of organic social.
- Build and maintain a consistent brand voice—optimistic, approachable, and empowering—across all channels.
- Own data and analytics, creating monthly dashboards, campaign reports, and audience insights that inform brand and content strategy.
- Partner cross-functionally with Brand, Product Marketing, and Customer Success to amplify initiatives and stories across audiences.
What We’re Looking For
- 4–5 years of experience in social media management, ideally within the education or EdTech space.
- Proven ability to grow audiences, drive engagement, and manage content end-to-end—from concept to reporting.
- Strong creative instincts and a passion for storytelling through video, copy, and visual design.
- Experience managing freelance content creators or agencies.
- Comfortable using analytics to measure performance and inform decisions.
- Familiarity with social and content tools like Canva, Figma, and native platform insights.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment where creativity meets impact.
Bonus points if you…
- Have design or content editing experience (Figma or Canva).
- Bring a teacher’s heart—understanding educators’ voices and what resonates most with them online.
