Mistplay embraces strategic, creative, and data-driven collaboration to fuel our imagination of what can be achieved.

The Social Media Manager will manage Mistplay’s presence on social media, create our social media strategy, and help manage the social media team. The position’s main objective is to scale Mistplay’s reach, engagement, and following across social and online platforms: growing our fanbase, establishing long-lasting brand loyalty, and driving value back into our apps. You will report to the VP of User Acquisition and collaborate closely with the rest of the marketing department, product team, and other stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing:
Build and execute a social media strategy to elevate the Mistplay brand while driving reach, followership, and engagement.
Self-produce and continuously experiment with social content (images, video, and copy), iterating and testing a wide variety of themes/concepts to maximize performance.
Develop a deep understanding of owned channel performance and our audience affinities to fuel engagement, drive collaborations, and more.
Report on weekly social metrics and provide strategic analysis with quantitative and qualitative insights to fuel optimization and scale of operations.
Engage in relevant online discussions and moderate social content, including gathering feedback and user sentiment to help drive product evolution.
Stay up to date on the latest social media and gaming trends to continually drive innovative social strategies and growth.
Track and report out on weekly, monthly and quarterly social media analytics to help us understand what content and strategies drive the best returns for Mistplay.

What We're Looking For:
3-6 years of experience in social media marketing, content creation, or a related role.
You have a proven track record scaling content across TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or LinkedIn.
You can speak to the impact of social media beyond vanity metrics.
You’re a strong content creator with a natural ability to create engaging, native-platform content across different types of content outputs, including written, static visuals, infographics, and video.
You are data-driven but you also have a creative mindset.
You’re not afraid to pitch big ideas and you’ve got several in your back pocket at all times.
You are comfortable with editing your own content when needed and can self-serve in Canva, CapCut, and other social tools.
You’re a great writer who can master tone changes as you move across social channels (witty and sharp captions are your specialty)
You know how to leverage established tactics, but you can also think beyond the "playbook" to bring creative new ideas for growth
You have strong communication skills and proficiency in English; French is a plus.
Experience working with influencers or community ambassadors is a plus.
Experience working with an internal (or external) creative team for larger scale projects.
Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
Knowledge of the (mobile) gaming industry is advantageous.

Why Mistplay?

Working at Mistplay is coupled with a whole array of perks that we've adopted virtually and in-person: Team Lunches, game nights, company-wide events, and so much more. Our culture is deeply rooted in growth and upheld by a team of smart, dynamic, and enthusiastic people. We utilize data to constantly learn, improve, and adapt. We foster an environment where everyone is encouraged to share their ideas, push boundaries, take calculated risks, and witness their visions come to life.
