Ibotta is looking for a Senior Salesforce Engineer to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. As a Senior Salesforce Engineer, you will be a part of a team of Salesforce Engineers enhancing the use of our Salesforce platform and its place in the Ibotta technical ecosystem.
You will collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and designers to enhance our use of Salesforce and its integrations with our rewards content creation platforms, rewards content distribution platforms, and billing and budgeting platforms. Salesforce at Ibotta goes beyond CRM and is a critical part of our technical landscape as we make every purchase rewarding for our savers and transform performance marketing for our clients.
This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States.
What you will be doing:
Develop new automation and integrations with the Ibotta platform that support business requirements
Build new user experiences consisting of custom objects, workflows, validations and formulas while adhering to Salesforce best practices
Implement and troubleshoot integrations between Salesforce and the Ibotta platform that accurately transfers data between multiple systems, including external systems.
Write tests and perform code reviews to ensure that we're producing reliable, readable, and reusable code
Manage and improve the Salesforce DevOps process including efficient deployment processes, expectations for code, and managing sandbox environments using Git, Copilot, and Jira
Keep current new Salesforce features and functionality, providing recommendations for improvements, and teaching others
Provide high quality, reliable, scalable and high-throughput solutions
Create and maintain technical documentation on integrations with the platform

What we are looking for:
7-10 + years of Engineering experience including 3+ years of Salesforce development experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics or a related field required
Salesforce development experience with Apex and Lightning Web Components
Expertise in Salesforce configuration including Flows and Dynamic Lightning Pages
Solid understanding of overall Lightning architecture and Salesforce data model
Experience working with Agile, Kanban or Scrum
Experience building custom solutions on Force.com platform using standard and custom objects, APEX web services, SOQL, SOSL.
Experience with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and Event driven architecture and working with cross-functional engineering teams
Experience with development languages, scripts and frameworks: Java, JavaScript libraries; Background and experience with full stack web development is a plus
Required Certifications: Platform Developer I, Platform App Builder I Platform Developer II
Bonus Certifications: Salesforce Certified Architect Certifications

Additional Details:
This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, Employee Stock Purchase Program, and 401k match. Denver office perks include paid parking, snacks, and occasional meals.
Base compensation range: $116.000 - $131,000. Equity is included in overall compensation package. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience.
