The Senior Sales Engineer works closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise and support during the sales process. Senior SE’s take a proactive role in leading technical discussions with prospects and customers. They are responsible for designing and architecting solutions that meet customer needs, as well as mentoring junior team members. They drive product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts. Receive quotas and commissions against new revenue, including recurring revenue from new logos, customer expansions, and services revenue.
What You’ll Achieve:Lead technical discussions and prospect solution design sessions
Design and architect complex solutions to meet customer requirements
Act as a subject matter expert on company products and solutions
Contribute to the development of sales strategies and product roadmaps
Partner with sales personnel, execute MEDDPICC based sales practices, effective POV execution, and CRM hygiene
7+ years of Sales Engineering or Technical Consulting (Pre-Sales) experience, preferably a bulk of those years in cybersecurity
Deep understanding of the needs and drivers of security teams
Proven track record of performance and building strong client relationships
Strong awareness of security market trends and competitive landscape
Experienced in MEDDPICC and value-based selling to medium to large enterprises
Familiarity with data-driven sales processes and fast/complex sales cycles
Solid technical knowledge across:
Operating Systems: Linux, Windows, macOS
Cloud Platforms: VMware, AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes
DevOps Tools: Ansible, Terraform
Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments and adapting to change
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively while wearing “multiple hats”
