The Role: 

Datacor is looking to add a professional individual to join our solution sales engineering teamThis individual will work closely on the sales team to support net new sales in the manufacturing and distribution industry; along with cross sale opportunities of the Datacor customer base.  We are looking for a dedicated, experienced individual that has experience in the animal feed industry. 

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate and explain the features, functionality, and value of the Datacor ERP software solutions to process manufacturing and distribution companies. 
  • Ability to clearly articulate and describe process & batch manufacturing operations to include formulation, inventory management, MRP, production scheduling, quality & regulatory, warehouse management, manufacturing operations, distribution, accounting, and analytics. 
  • Support customer success with cross sales opportunities 
  • Actively participate in discovery/project scoping, demonstration, and proposal review sessions with prospects and customers.  
  • Comprehend a prospect’s & customer’s technical requirements to determine system capabilities or identify key requirements for configuration.  
  • Prepare and Preform prospect/customer specific product demonstrations in-person or virtually to small and large audiences.  
  • Communicate effectively and work with cross-functional teams to cross sell and upsell to current customers. 
  • Ability to bring new ideas regarding industry best practices and process improvements while demonstrating solution value to prospects and customers. 
  • Familiarity with ERP implementations and support sales team to articulate the value of partnering with Datacor. 
  • Meet assigned sales targets each year, contribute to overall sales growth. 
  • Serve as a technical liaison between prospects/customers and Datacor.  
  • Work closely with Account Executives to complete RFP and RFI responses to meet required timelines and expectations.  
  • Support sales and marketing by attending trade shows, industry specific webinars, and marketing collateral.   
  • Communicate technical requirements to product managers in support of enhancing solutions based on industry and customer requirements.  
  • Attend ongoing training and maintain technical knowledge, attend certification training, and conduct product training. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interface with both technical and nontechnical team members.  
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced pre-sales environment with the ability to support multiple projects at any given time.  
  • In-depth knowledge of batch and process manufacturing software or experience working for a manufacturer in this environment.  
  • Excellent organization and time management skills working in a professional environment. 
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with large executive level groups. 
  • Clear objections during sales processes through creative approaches.  
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software suite and MS Teams. 
  • Working knowledge with APIs, SQL, and other relational databases.  
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and PowerBI a plus.  
  • Ability to travel up to 60%
