The Senior Sales Advisor at Geonetric is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, managing the sales funnel, nurturing client relationships, and collaborating on proposals, while mentoring team members and participating in marketing initiatives.
SummaryAs a Senior Sales Advisor at Geonetric, you’ll be responsible for nurturing and closing new sales. You’ll manage Geonetric’s sales efforts by forecasting future sales, seeking new opportunities, developing long-term relationships with potential clients, and selling the value of Geonetric to close new sales. You’ll lead prospective clients through the full sales funnel from prospecting to close. You’ll also work closely with our internal subject matter experts to recommend products and services based on the prospective client’s needs and communicate market trends to inform new product development.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesWhile Geonetric employees might get to work on just about anything, this position primarily:
- Develops the sales strategy for closing new sales opportunities, including projects involving current product offerings as well as undefined new products, deliverables, or strategies.
- Identifies, manages, and implements new-sales strategies to ensure a full sales funnel, accurately forecasts sales efforts, and meets or exceeds individual sales goals and key performance indicators.
- Generates, develops, and qualifies potential leads with targeted prospects through various prospecting activities, including messaging strategies, cold calling, client referrals, partner relationships, and existing relationships.
- Creates and nurtures long-term relationships with potential clients, addressing new questions, overcoming objections, and developing win strategies to advance the opportunity.
- Responds to client proposal request by creating the initial scope and outline, collaborating with the proposal writer to customize the content and ensure accuracy and completeness regarding deliverables, time frames, and pricing.
- Assists in negotiating pricing and scope with prospective clients, working closely with internal Geonetric teams on final proposal and contract, ensuring accuracy.
- Leads targeted sales presentations and demonstrations customized to the audience/client needs (e.g. c-suite executives, marketing, and IT), working with subject matter experts and other contributors to align messaging and overall win strategy.
- Ensures smooth hand-off of new clients to both project and account teams to create a successful project and a valuable, long-term client relationship.
- Manages integrity of contact database by adding, deleting, and updating contact information to ensure data is accurate for sales forecasting process.
- Identifies target markets, market trends, and common pain points across prospective clients, competitive advantages, and overall themes of the industry and communicate to product teams.
- Understands Geonetric’s products and services, success stories, market differentiators, and unique value proposition.
- Serves as a leader on the sales team by mentoring and expanding knowledge around digital, healthcare strategy, and sales strategy.
- Participates in marketing initiatives, including campaigns, webinars, and tradeshows, to establish leads and follow up on next steps.
- Completes complex work independently while understanding and anticipating impacts, including to adjacent work.
- Serves as a subject matter expert in the discipline, solving unexpected issues, and making decisions.
- Manages and defines processes, recommending and executing improvements, efficiencies, and technologies to drive better results.
- Develops and executes strategies in collaboration with others, effectively communicating to stakeholders.

- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent required
- Typically has a minimum of 5 years’ experience
