Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Roadway Engineer / Discipline Project Lead to lead roadway plan production while collaborating with Project Managers. This role focuses on managing technical scope, production, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:

Serve as roadway discipline lead for ODOT, county, and municipal transportation projects

Lead roadway plan development and production efforts
-
Coordinate with bridge, drainage, traffic, and utility disciplines
-
Lead internal and external design coordination meetings
-
Provide mentoring and technical oversight to roadway staff
-
Review and stamp roadway plans as Engineer of Record when required
-
Oversee QA/QC reviews and design risk management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 15+ years of roadway design experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience serving as technical lead on transportation projects
- Strong knowledge of ODOT standards and roadway production workflows
