Job Duties and Responsibilities
Senior RF Engineer sought by DISH Wireless LLC in Littleton, CO
Perform RF design activities related to building the first standalone 5G broadband network in the U.S. Optimize end-to-end RF design, propagation modeling and prediction for deployment of macro cell deployment. Determine equipment and power configurations. Work with eNB/RAN and UE teams on RF solutions including modifications to RF link budgets on a per site level basis. Perform site candidate evaluations, selection, and site walks. Work with RF management to establish design criteria, link budget, and traffic analysis for network design. Update existing performance parameters for ongoing improvements. Manage projects and processes. Establish and maintain
operations plans. Develop solutions to complex RF Engineering issues. Coordinate cell site call testing and optimization drive activities. Troubleshoot cell site issues.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field plus 6 years in job offered or as a Solution Engineer, Network Engineering, or RF Engineer. Also 5 years of experience with/using the following (which may have been gained concurrently):

• Performing LTE optimization and trouble shooting.
• Macro and small cell nominal, operations, RF KPIs, and performance of sites for 3GPP technologies.
• Analyze RF conditions utilizing Analysis tools like RSRP, RSRQ, CQI, SINR, Modulation, HO, PCI Swap, Latency Test, and RRC Setup failures.
• Drive test data post - processing, map generation, frequency planning and interference matrix evaluation and site database maintenance using Windcatcher/Actix/Accuver.
• Cellular/Mobile Technology in 2G/3G or 4G theory.

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $155,022.00/Year
