In the early days of Silicon Valley, the most powerful ideas spread not through ads or algorithms, but through conversation. It was founders sharing lessons over coffee, investors making connections at late-night dinners, communities forming around ambition and belief. These moments weren’t loud, but they were transformative.

At Mercury, we believe modern banking* should feel the same way - powerful, personal, and effortless. Our mission is to simplify finance for ambitious founders so they can spend less time managing money and more time building what matters.

We’re looking for a Senior Product Enablement Specialist to ensure our go-to-market teams are ready to sell every product we launch. Mercury is shipping new products faster than ever, and this role will own how our reps learn, practice, and prove they’re ready to sell with confidence from day one. You’ll build the programs, set the standard for what good looks like, and measure the impact it makes in the field.

This is a chance to build a function from the ground up at a pivotal moment in our growth. You’ll partner closely with product marketing, revenue strategy, and sales on high-visibility launches, helping define what great product enablement looks like at Mercury.

*Mercury is a fintech company, not an FDIC-insured bank. Banking services provided through Choice Financial Group and Column N.A., Members FDIC.

What you’ll do:
  • Own revenue readiness for product launches and major updates, from the enablement plan through delivery
  • Design and continuously improve product enablement programs that set a standard for what good looks like, certify reps against it before they sell, and scale as reusable resources for new hires
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify gaps or opportunities, prioritize across competing requests, and define the most appropriate solutions at the individual, team and department levels
  • Translate product and positioning into field-ready guidance, working with product marketing, product, and frontline subject matter experts to build talk tracks, discovery questions, demo paths, and competitive framing
  • Measure behavior change through conversation intelligence and enablement platform data, and connect programs to pipeline, attach, and win rates
  • Surface field insights back to product marketing, product, and revenue leadership to help inform what we build next
  • Identify where AI and other technologies can help improve employee effectiveness
  • Distribute, track, and maintain product enablement assets to ensure the accuracy of materials
What We're Looking For:
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, revenue or product enablement, or a similar role supporting go-to-market teams
  • Experience partnering with business leaders within complex environments to develop business objectives, solve problems, and implement strategies
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced, constantly growing and evolving environment
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and ability to approach new problems with curiosity and first-principles thinking
  • Strong data fluency with the ability to pull your own data and navigate across sources to connect the dots yourself rather than waiting for someone else to do it
  • A genuine enthusiasm for AI and emerging technology meaning you actively seek out ways to integrate AI into your work, have experimented with tools like LLMs, copilots, or automation platforms, and see AI as a force multiplier for the type of strategic work this role demands
  • Demonstrated ability to bring structure and simplicity to a variety of complex and ambiguous business problems
  • Ability to work independently to identify issues and proactively propose, build and implement the solutions to address them from the ground up
  • Comfort working in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment, with a strong understanding of when to escalate urgent issues and to whom
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and time management and prioritization skills
