  • Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, reports, and KPI frameworks to monitor performance at enterprise, payer, modality, location, and workflow levels.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to cash acceleration, denial reduction, underpayments, productivity, and operational efficiency.
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for executive and operational leaders.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems and reporting outputs.
  • Partner with RCM operations leaders to diagnose issues in front‑end, coding, billing, and follow‑up workflows and support corrective action plans.
  • Collaborate with finance on revenue forecasting, performance tracking, and variance analysis.
  • Support payer strategy and contract performance analysis through data‑driven insights.
  • Provide analytics support for strategic initiatives, audits, and performance improvement programs.
  • Leverage EHR, practice management, RCM platforms, and analytics tools to automate reporting and improve data accessibility.
  • Work with IT and vendors on data mapping, system enhancements, and integration of radiology‑specific workflows (modalities, CPTs, payer rules).
  • Continuously improve data processes to reduce manual work and increase speed and reliability.
  • Serve as a people manager and mentor for RCM analytics staff, setting clear expectations, reviewing work quality, and developing analytical capability across the team.
  • Establish standards for analytical rigor, documentation, and repeatable reporting processes.
  •  Foster a high‑performance, high‑accountability culture with strong attention to detail and follow‑through.
  • Prioritize and allocate analytical resources based on business impact and organizational needs.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Comprehensive knowledge of revenue cycle functions including patient access, coding, billing, collections, denials, and reimbursement models.
  • Proven ability to align revenue cycle strategy with organizational goals, interpret financial data, drive performance metrics, and support long-term financial sustainability.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills, executive-level communication, and negotiation skills with ability to proactively identify and quantify performance issues, pull and shape data to drive business insights, and structure and drive cross-functional remediation efforts.
  • Relentless work ethic and takes ownership, meets deadlines, and holds self and others accountable.  Ability to thrive and adapt in an ever-changing and fast-paced environment.
  • Goes beyond surface metrics to root cause analysis and actionable insight.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare regulations and payer requirements (e.g., HIPAA, CMS) to ensure organizational compliance and reduce risk exposure.
  • Experienced in EHR/RCM systems and data analytics tools, with the ability to leverage technology to optimize workflows and revenue capture.
  • Deep understanding of payer contracts, reimbursement models, billing, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Experience supporting multi‑site, multi‑state radiology or healthcare organizations.
  • Familiarity with radiology‑specific coding, payer behavior, and authorization dynamics.
  • Experience building scalable KPI frameworks and executive‑level dashboards.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business, Finance or related field required.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in revenue cycle analytics, with strong radiology or healthcare services exposure.
  • Demonstrated expertise across the full radiology revenue cycle (front‑end through AR and denials).
  •  Advanced analytical skills, including strong SQL and/or advanced Excel; experience with BI tools highly preferred.
  • Prior experience leading, mentoring, or managing analysts.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and follow‑through.
