If you know financial analysis across revenue, COGS, gross margin and related key metrics, this is a fantastic opportunity to join the Finance team at the global leader in implantable hearing devices! In this role, you will be based in our Americas head office in Lone Tree, CO. This role is hybrid, requiring you to be in the office 2 days per week minimum, with 3 days per week working from home.
The Senior Reporting Analyst will primarily focus on Sales Reporting, a function that plays a vital role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization. In addition, this role will assist the Accounting team in financial analysis of revenue, cogs, gross margin and related key metrics. By delivering accurate, detailed, and timely reports and analysis, this role supports strategic sales initiatives, revenue accurate financial reporting forecasting, and performance tracking. The analyst will beis responsible for designing, maintaining, and enhancing reporting tools and dashboards, while collaborating closely with Sales, Finance, and Business Operations teams.
Success in this role requires a strong analytical mindset, keen attention to detail, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, analyze, and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to organization, including senior leadership.
- Identify key trends, variances, and forecast implications by interpreting core sales metrics such as average selling price (ASP), product-to-invoice (P/I) ratios, sales performance, and return rates.
- Build a deep understanding of business operations and key metrics on sales trends and current operations.
- Prepare and upload sales adjustments into relevant systems with accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations to investigate and resolve inquiries related to sales metrics and reporting.
- Partner with Accounting and Finance teams to analyze complex financial data—including sales, cost of sales, and gross margin—to ensure reporting accuracy and provide insights for financial reporting to senior leadership and parent company.
- Maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional teams including Sales Operations, Customer Service, Warehouse, and Finance to ensure alignment and data integrity.
Key Requirements
To add value to Cochlear in this role you'll be able to meet and demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and abilities in your application and at interview:
- Bachelor's degree, Finance or Accounting emphasis preferred
- 3-5+ Years of experience
- Preferred experience with report development within Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel for extracting and analyzing financial data
- Preferred experience with advanced reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Pay Range in the United States: $80,000 - $85,000 based upon experience, as well as an annual bonus opportunity of 7.5% of base salary. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
