Rapid7 is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Senior Renewal Account Manager to lead renewal and expansion efforts across our most complex customer accounts. In this role, you will own high-value, enterprise, multi-product renewal negotiations, engage directly with executive stakeholders, and drive predictable retention and recurring revenue growth.

About the Role
As a Senior Renewal Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be to lead end-to-end renewal execution and drive commercial growth across strategic accounts. Specifically, your focus will be to:
- Own the end-to-end renewal process for assigned enterprise accounts, ensuring timely and accurate contract execution.
- Develop and execute data-driven renewal strategies that align customer business goals with Rapid7 commercial priorities.
- Lead high-stakes contract, pricing, and term negotiations with senior executive stakeholders and procurement teams.
- Build trusted relationships across customer executive, finance, and procurement functions to maintain account continuity.
- Identify, qualify, and execute portfolio expansion opportunities in close partnership with Sales and Channel teams.
- Maintain accurate renewal forecasts, deal hygiene, and account insights using Salesforce and Clari.
- Serve as a mentor to Renewal Account Managers, offering guidance on deal structuring, negotiation strategies, and best practices.
- Collaborate with leadership to refine renewal playbooks, retention workflows, and team enablement initiatives.
The skills and qualities you'll bring include
- Bring 4-6+ years of SaaS renewals, account management, or commercial sales ownership experience with proven retention success.
- Demonstrate expertise managing complex, multi-product enterprise renewal cycles and channel ecosystems.
- Hold self and others responsible for driving predictable retention outcomes, forecast accuracy, and clear deal ownership.
- Build a global network and work across boundaries with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance to deliver cohesive strategies.
- Think big and act small by breaking renewal targets into clear account plans, time-bound milestones, and risk mitigation steps.
- Embrace difficult conversations, actively listen, and check for understanding during high-stakes contract negotiations and escalations.
- Display strong executive communication skills and advanced proficiency in Salesforce, Clari, and forecasting tools.
- Exhibit analytical rigor, strong business judgment, and a track record of balancing customer advocacy with commercial outcomes.
- Bring prior experience within the cybersecurity or enterprise SaaS industry.
