A Day in the LifeWe have an exciting opportunity for a highly collaborative and strategic Sr. Reimbursement Analyst to join our team. This role is pivotal in shaping and executing economic and reimbursement strategies that support patient access and demonstrate the economic value of our products. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing strategic metric dashboards and managing strategic projects that align to ACM Health Economic, Policy, and Reimbursement (HEPR) needs. The ideal candidate will be adept at cross-functional collaboration, educating internal and external stakeholders, and developing evidence-based economic value messages. This individual works under the direction of the ACM Director of Global Medical Science, Medical Education and Economics.

Position Responsibilities

  • Serve as the HEPR expert thought partner for ACM franchise commercial leadership
  • Create and communicate economic value propositions based on clinical and real-world evidence to support payer engagement and market access.
  • Create training and deliver education programs to internal stakeholders (e.g., sales teams, product managers) and external audiences (e.g., healthcare providers, payers) on reimbursement pathways, policy changes, and value messaging.
  • Monitor and analyze reimbursement trends, policy developments, and payer behavior to inform strategic planning.
  • Support the development of tools and resources that facilitate reimbursement and access, including training materials, value dossiers, and payer presentations.
  • Advise cross-functional teams (product development, marketing, regulatory, etc.) on reimbursement matters.
  • Partner with internal and external economic partners to generate evidence that supports product value and informs reimbursement decisions.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships and work in close partnership with cross-functional teams including Medical Science, Clinical, Regulatory, Marketing, and Medical Education
  • Partner with Corporate Communications on HEPR initiatives to ensure content and message accuracy
  • Generate and disseminate evidence-based economic messages to drive the franchise strategy
  • Support plans for scientific conferences to ensure optimization of economic evidence distribution strategy and delivery of consistent scientific messages
  • Analyze healthcare data to identify trends, measure outcomes and assess the impact of various interventions
  • Provide ongoing surveillance of the literature (device-specific, and competitive), and congress coverage/recaps (summaries of critical presentations, live cases)
  • Disseminate key findings of any major economic-related releases to internal and external stakeholders as appropriate through email, literature review calls, and/or commercial meetings
  • Develop, track, and report on reach and impact metrics related to output dissemination, strategy development, and execution to Clinical Research and Medical Science senior staff, cross-functional stakeholders, and executive business leadership
  • Maintain subject matter expertise, and robust knowledge and awareness of the competitive and relevant landscapes to provide economic input to business stakeholders across the product lifecycle
  • Provide subject-matter expertise to support the review of downstream materials through established processes (e.g., Veeva, etc.)
  • Travel requirement >15%

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in health policy, economics, life sciences or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in reimbursement, market access, and/or health economics within the healthcare or life sciences industry
  • Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare reimbursement systems, including public and private payers.
  • Proven ability to translate complex clinical and economic data into compelling value messages.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a passion for education and stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and strategic planning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Medical Industry experience preferred
  • Experience with payer engagement and policy shaping
  • Familiarity with value-based care models and outcomes-based contracting
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to evolving priorities
  • Exhibit strong time and project management skills
  • Exhibit strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Be flexible and able to adapt to changing requirements and priorities
  • Self-motivated to make recommendations and initiate assignments that will improve business processes
  • Ensures all activities are compliant with Quality System requirements.
  • Performs duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies, or governmental regulations.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$98,400-$147,600

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).

 

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to all regular employees: Incentive plans, 401(k) plan plus employer contribution and match, Short-term disability, Paid time off, Paid holidays, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Employee Assistance Program, Non-qualified Retirement Plan Supplement (subject to IRS earning minimums), and Capital Accumulation Plan (available to Vice Presidents and above, or subject to IRS earning minimums).

 

Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns.  Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Please note some of the above benefits may not apply to workers in Puerto Rico.
