Role Overview

eVisit is standing up a federal program track alongside its commercial platform, requiring talent across FedRAMP/GovCloud engineering, security and compliance, federal program management, and healthcare business analysts, while continuing hiring across Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and Go-to-Market.

The Senior Recruiter owns full-cycle recruiting for this slate. You will run intake, build the sourcing strategy, screen for both technical depth and federal eligibility, and carry candidates through offer.

This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who has hired into both healthcare technology and government contracting environments and can move fluently between them.

Role Responsibilities

Full-Cycle Recruiting

  • Own requisitions end to end: intake, sourcing strategy, screening, interview coordination, debrief facilitation, offer construction, and close.
  • Run structured recruiter screens that assess technical depth, healthcare or federal domain fit, and eligibility before candidates reach hiring managers.
  • Manage concurrent searches across engineering, security, program management, and business functions.

Federal and Cleared Talent Sourcing

  • Build and maintain pipelines of candidates with FedRAMP, ATO, GovCloud, and federal healthcare (VA, DHA, IHS, HRSA) experience, including those holding or eligible for Public Trust and higher.
  • Source through LinkedIn Recruiter, ClearanceJobs, prime and subcontractor alumni networks, and federal health IT communities; know where cleared talent actually looks.
  • Screen for federal eligibility accurately and lawfully, and document status in the ATS so hiring managers and program leadership can staff against contract requirements.
  • Advise hiring managers on the federal talent market: compensation expectations at primes versus product companies, clearance timelines, and how to position eVisit against GovCon employers.

Healthcare IT and Technical Sourcing

  • Source and engage passive HCIT talent: telehealth, digital health, EHR-adjacent, and healthcare SaaS backgrounds.
  • Assess candidates beyond resume keywords; understand what a DevSecOps engineer, an enterprise architect, or a healthcare BA actually does well enough to calibrate with the hiring manager.
  • Extend eVisit's employer brand in the HCIT market, including the two-time Best in KLAS recognition and the federal program work.

Hiring Manager Partnership

  • Act as a consultative partner to engineering, security, program, and executive leaders: set realistic timelines, push back on unworkable requirements, and bring market data to the conversation.
  • Design and coach interview loops, including scorecards and structured questions, so decisions are consistent and defensible.
  • Partner on compensation alignment, offer approvals, background and eligibility checks, and onboarding hand-off.

Process, Data, and Playbook

  • Maintain accurate, current pipeline data in Workable; report weekly on pipeline health, source-of-hire, time-to-fill, and offer acceptance.
  • Build eVisit's federal recruiting playbook: eligibility screening scripts, sourcing channel guide, comp benchmarks, and interview loop templates for federal-track roles.
  • Manage agency and contract recruiting relationships when engaged, including intake, calibration, and performance against SLAs.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with at least 3 years recruiting technical roles (software, cloud, security, or infrastructure).
  • 2+ years recruiting into federal government contracting, federal health IT, or cleared environments, with hands-on experience screening for U.S. citizenship, Public Trust, and security clearance eligibility.
  • Direct experience recruiting in healthcare IT, telehealth, digital health, or healthcare SaaS.
  • Demonstrated success sourcing passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and at least one cleared-talent channel (for example, ClearanceJobs).
  • Track record of influencing senior hiring managers and executives on requirements, timelines, and offers.
  • Ability to run 10+ concurrent searches with disciplined ATS hygiene and clear stakeholder communication.
  • Working knowledge of FedRAMP, ATO, and GovCloud terminology sufficient to screen credibly for security, DevSecOps, and architecture roles.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience recruiting for a healthcare IT or telehealth vendor delivering to VA, DHA, or a civilian health agency.
  • Prior experience at a federal prime or subcontractor (for example, GDIT, Leidos, SAIC, Booz Allen, Cognosante, Peraton, ICF, Maximus, Accenture Federal Services, Deloitte GPS) or at a cleared-recruiting agency.
  • Experience with Workable or a comparable ATS
  • Experience building recruiting processes at a scaling company, including first-time federal hiring.
  • Familiarity with pay-transparency and OFCCP-related posting requirements for federal contractors.
