The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the management of large, complex, and high-risk technology projects, including leading and driving initiatives across Marketing Technology platforms, Salesforce, and Workday Financials.

The right candidate will be customer-focused, results-oriented, and eager to both deliver successful projects and serve as a model and mentor for other project managers.

Experience managing technology initiatives involving one or more of the following areas is highly preferred: Marketing Technology ecosystems, Salesforce implementations/enhancements, and/or Workday Financials.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • With general direction, responsible to: 

  • Report on status of new or existing projects; forecast resource capacity; formulate and define project scope, project artifacts and objectives.

  • Maintain and create project schedules in accordance with industry best practices. 

  • Lead medium- and large-sized technical projects to include meetings and events; create, update and validate project data and report the data to management and peers; create and maintain project records; lead others in the ongoing completion of their work according to best practice. 

  • Proactively identify and recommend corrective action for projects at risk of missing delivery objectives.  

  • Other duties as assigned or required. 

EXPERTISE: 

  • Competent to manage most phases of medium- and large-sized projects; maintains focus on the business implications of the success or failure of the assigned portfolio. 

  • Knowledgeable about the major disciplines and phases of project management. 

  • Vendor relationship and execution management within projects.

  • Tactical, operational and strategic level communication.

EXPERIENCE: 

Typically has 7-15 years of relevant technical and business work experience, to include project management in waterfall, agile and hybrid environments. 

TECHNICAL SKILLS: 

Proficient in Microsoft Project, Project Online, Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, OneNote, Teams and Microsoft 365.   

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 

Educational Requirements: 

Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, or related fields; or equivalent work experience. 

Communication and Interpersonal skills:  

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. 

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively. 

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • At a minimum, the ability to work from 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m., Monday through Friday. 

  • Consistent attendance is required, which may include attendance at after-hour Company events.

  • Ability to accept supervision. 

  • Ability to foster, develop, and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships. Must be able to get along with others, i.e., peers, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors. 

  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone, video conferences and in person. 

  • Must be a personable, positive, and professional representative of the company. 

  • Ability to work overtime as requested and approved by supervisor. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.

The estimated pay range stated represents the typical pay range for this position or similarly employed employees or employees performing substantially similar work. Factors which may be used to determine the actual pay rate may include, but are not limited to, education, training or experience; seniority; merit and work performance; quantity or quality of production; regional differences in compensation; differences in local minimum wages, or ability and effort.

Position's Pay Range:

$125,000 - $135,000/annually
