Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Senior Project Manager handles a few initiatives and/or vendors associated with our Echostar Portfolio.They mentor project managers and create project plans and status in accordance with Dish standards. They bring together cross-functional internal and vendor resources to deliver on project objectives. They also communicate project status in multiple forums to all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance to project scope concerns across projects
  • Oversee and monitor the planning, organization and control of a set of complex related projects within the program
  • Manage the financial performance of a set of projects and escalates financial risks to overall program
  • Plan, estimate, staff, organize and monitor resources across a set of projects
  • Consolidate project status from other project managers and regularly communicate project reports to internal stakeholders with efficient analysis of issues and potential solutions
  • Manage dynamics across project teams, while providing peer coaching to fellow project managers
  • Advise on preferred tools, techniques and methods for managing projects' scope, schedule and budget estimation
  • Oversee project charters across multiple projects, aligning common project metrics with the objectives of the program

Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education & Experience:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree, ideally with a focus on Project or Program Management or relevant degree
  • Minimum of 4 years in a project, program, or delivery management role

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience managing and motivating cross-functional teams and business partners
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with technical and non-technical teams
  • Ability to create and present executive level presentations summarizing the status of projects
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to convey findings from complex data sets with use of easy to understand charts, graphs, and observations
  • Self-motivated, and able to efficiently manage simultaneous projects
  • Ability to identify and analyze opportunities and risks, and then develop suggested action plans

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
