He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role
Based at Watercare’s Rosedale Wastewater Treatment Plant in Auckland’s North Shore, this role provides construction supervision, wastewater treatment expertise, supplier knowledge and equipment integration during the delivery of wastewater treatment infrastructure projects.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring healthy and safe work practices, and ensuring that construction activity complies with resource consents, and environmental standards.
You will be the “go to” person on site, liaising with project managers, project engineers.

To be successful in this role you will have excellent communication skills, and enjoy a hands-on role.
Your skills will include:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience of project engineering on treatment plant infrastructure projects or similar.
- Experience managing project Quality Assurance, Health and Safety, procurement, leadership and reporting requirements
- Delivery of wastewater treatment infrastructure projects.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- A tertiary qualification on engineering or equivalent, and preferably membership of IPENZ or equivalent.
