Doka USA Ltd. seeks multiple Senior Project Engineers (Commerce City, CO) to create AUTOCAD drawings using Doka formwork systems, to be used in job and construction sites. Determine and plan technical solutions for construction projects utilizing Doka’s formwork systems such as Frami S Xlife System, Framax S Xlife System, Large-area formwork Top 50 S, Supercurve, Supporting Construction Frame “Universal”, D22, Dokamatic S table, Doka Truss Tables, Dokart, Dokadek 30, Dokaflex S, Superdek, Climbing Formwork MF240, Shaft Platform, Folding Platform K, Paratop, Steel Girder, Load-bearing Tower Staxo 100, 10K, Stair Tower 250, Protection Screen Xclimb 60, Safety Nets, Doka Formwork Design Software 9 (Dokacad 9 for Autocad, Dokacad 9 for Revit, Beam Statics 9, Dokacalc), Timecockpit, DSP-(Doka Sales Project), WeDevelop, PTC Mathcad and BIM 360. Partner with customers, contractors, sales and operations departments while working on jobs from preliminary project planning stages to project completion. Work with sales to produce AutoCAD drawings during

the proposal stage and finalize working drawings for Doka USA forming systems. Provide material lists for shipments to sites. Provide guidance to customers regarding forming solutions. Produce and ensure that the drawings indicate the proper use of Doka USA forming equipment and that the drawings represent safe, economical and efficient designs. Identify any improper implementation of Doka systems and take action to ensure technical solutions are immediately implemented. Ensure that policies, procedures, programs, and standards of performance and compliance are adhered to. 10% domestic travel required.

SALARY: $87,256 per year.

Job Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related field and 3 years of concrete forming and shoring applications and design experience. Must have experience with: Autocad software; Project management software; Managing project cost and materials management and estimating tools; Interpreting and comprehending structural and architectural blueprints; Providing bill of materials based on drawings for delivery lists of projects; Employing construction technical expertise and on-the-job methods for formwork and shoring applications on a range of projects including: civil, infrastructure, residential, commercial, tunnel, bridge, and high-rise structures; Adhering to formwork industry standards and regulations; Designing formwork, shoring, lumber, steel, and custom solutions for unique applications; Creating drawings for formwork and shoring; Performing related design calculations and analysis; Creating calculation packages for third-party reviewers, local building authority, or professional engineers; Creating concept drawings and estimates during the pre-bid and granted contract phases; Resolving field and design issues quickly and with minimal information; Troubleshooting formwork and shoring solutions for customer projects; Performing site visits and meeting with clients to ensure proper application of formwork and shoring systems; Coordinating projects at once while scheduling them to meet deadlines; Supporting customer’s training for new and established formwork systems; Reviewing drawings and bills of materials for the engineering team before client release; and Computer applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Employer will accept 2 years of work experience in lieu of degree requirement. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience. 10% domestic travel required.
