Lead and modernize TA operations at Dropbox, focusing on system upgrades, project management, and improving the hiring process by leveraging technology.
Role Description
As a Senior TA Operations Program Manager at Dropbox, you’ll lead high-impact initiatives that simplify, scale, and modernize the way we hire. Sitting at the intersection of systems, process, and experience, you’ll own the roadmap for TA operational excellence—working cross-functionally to automate workflows, improve hiring efficiency, and ensure alignment with our broader People tech ecosystem. You’ll apply robust strategic thinking, stakeholder savvy, and a bias for action to improve how we attract and hire top talent.
Responsibilities- Lead strategic modernization of our TA Operations roadmap, fostering simplification, consistency, and integration across systems to improve recruiter efficiency and candidate experience.
- Lead execution of major system upgrades aligned to the TA modernization roadmap.
- Manage all TA tools and vendors with a focus on improving adoption, tracking usage metrics, and ensuring ROI across the tech stack.
- Own projects end-to-end, from identifying ambiguous operational pain points to launching efficient, data-driven solutions that reduce manual overhead.
- Drive consistency and clarity across the hiring lifecycle, documenting best practices and enabling change management across teams.
- Partner cross-functionally with stakeholders across TA, Workforce Planning, People Tech, Legal, Privacy, and Finance to align systems and operational outcomes with company-wide priorities.
- Apply product management principles in ambiguous environments, prioritizing for impact, delivering ambitious outcomes, and adjusting approaches based on stakeholder and business needs.
- Model operational excellence, mentoring others in structured problem-solving and scalable project planning, and contributing to TA’s long-term strategic roadmap.
- Apply disciplined project-management practices —using systems thinking to map dependencies, build structured plans, influence stakeholders, and drive cross-functional projects from concept to on-time, in-scope, on-budget delivery.
- Proficiency in leveraging design thinking methodologies to deeply understand employee needs, rapidly prototype experience solutions, and implement data-driven iteration cycles that measurably enhance engagement and retention.
- Demonstrate experience leveraging AI tools in the flow of work. Candidates with a pre-existing comfort level and familiarity using AI to enhance productivity are strongly preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition Operations, HR technology, or a related field, with a proven track record of owning complex, cross-functional projects.
- Deep expertise in ATS and HRIS systems, especially Greenhouse and Workday.
- Ability to identify high-leverage opportunities and drive change through influence - not just ownership.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, with the ability to create clarity from ambiguity and scale repeatable solutions.
- Experience building partnerships across functions and levels, influencing decisions with clear communication and data-backed recommendations.
- High standards for stakeholder experience, prioritizing simplicity, consistency, and impact over process for process’s sake.
- Strong alignment with Dropbox’s values and a passion for operational excellence, equity, and team-wide empowerment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading an ATS migration.
