Owns and prioritizes the product backlog for a portal feature-parity workstream. Translates business objectives into user stories and acceptance criteria, facilitates discovery workshops, supports Agile ceremonies and release planning, and ensures requirements traceability. Collaborates with engineering, UX, DevOps, and QA to clarify integrations, workflows, and data flows. Defines KPIs, supports UAT, manages risks and dependencies, and coordinates delivery with distributed EU/UK stakeholders.

Requirements:
- 5+ years as a Product Owner in a software development environment
- Strong requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation across business, functional, and non-functional needs
- Hands-on experience writing clear user stories with acceptance criteria and managing/prioritizing a product backlog
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum / Kanban teams
- Proficiency with Jira (required) and Confluence (or comparable Agile and documentation tooling)
- Experience with Miro or similar collaboration/whiteboarding tools
- Familiarity with SaaS business models and cloud-based architectures, with a working understanding of AWS/Azure
- Understanding of REST APIs, integrations, and data flows
- Process mapping and modeling skills (BPMN, flow diagrams)
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and workshop leadership
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a distributed, multi-timezone team (EU, UK)
- Excellent English communication skills, comfortable with both technical and non-technical audiences
Nice to Have:
- Experience with AI-assisted development and analysis tools (Copilot, Claude, Cursor)
- Background in enterprise / B2B SaaS, multi-tenant platforms, or large-scale portals
- Experience supporting a platform consolidation, migration, or feature-parity initiative
- Certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile/Scrum (CSM, SAFe) / Product Owner (CSPO)
- Experience with SQL or data querying tools
- Exposure to compliance or regulatory-driven environments (data privacy, security standards)
Responsibilities:
- Own, refine, and prioritize the product backlog for the portal feature-parity workstream
- Translate product vision and business objectives into clear, actionable user stories with acceptance criteria in Jira
- Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements
- Facilitate requirements workshops, stakeholder interviews, and discovery sessions
- Lead and support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning
- Ensure requirements traceability from business objective through to delivery
- Collaborate with engineering, UX, DevOps, and QA to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities
- Document workflows, process diagrams, system interactions, and data flows
- Define KPIs and success metrics for new features and releases
- Support UAT planning and validation to confirm delivered functionality meets business intent
- Identify risks, dependencies, and impacts of proposed changes
- Engage with Client product and engineering counterparts in EU/UK on scope, integration points, and delivery milestones
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, retros, demos)
